Miguel Romero

At the beginning of 2000, Miguel was already touring the circuits of medium-sized rooms for acoustic concerts in Madrid, in places like El Rincón del Arte Nuevo, El Búho Real, Café Libertad, Café la Palma, Café Berlín, El Juglar, La Playa, Las Tablas,...to mention only a few. He was also recording self-produced tracks that his friends played in the car over and over again.

Given the difficulties he encountered when recording with resources and creating a band to present the songs in his original format as a rock band, he decided to focus on his career as an actor. He has worked in more than twenty-five Spanish TV series, eight Colombian series, three films, numerous theater plays and musicals, short films and advertising.

Being focused on his acting career does not stop Miguel from continuing to compose at a dizzying pace. In 2010 he edited his EP "Impresiones" with three songs, his first professional work produced by Julio Seijas and with Bob Painter as engineer and arranger. He also composes and produces the main theme of the web series "Jartitas de to", of the short film " Candela ", and plays in national festivals.

But the turning point occurs when Miguel stars in the musical 50 SOMBRAS, playing a crazy Christian Gray. There he meets the guitarist, bassist and producer Josemi Sánchez. Together they started the recording which lasted eighteen months of intense work. With no doubt this is a great album and it's collecting excellent reviews.

"Memorias de un hombre bala". The album.

The Madrilenian singer and actor revitalizes the pop-rock scene in Spanish with this energetic record, full of influences from the eighties and the nineties that have marked several generations in Spain and Latin America.

The recording took place in in the Semi-Studio of Morata de Tajuña, and during those eighteen months, Miguel Ramiro and Josemi Sánchez showed an enormous creative collaboration, giving sense to the songs and listening to the needs of each other. Thanks to that they were able to bring great collaborations of musicians such as Josemi Sagaste (Sabina's usual saxophonist), Carlos Orgaz (flamenco guitar of Andy and Lucas), Celia Vergara (choirs), Carlos Sanchís ( harmonica), Juanjo Ortí (drums), Oscar Salmerón (flamenco cajón), Nacho Muñoz (trumpet) and Sabela Mascuñana (choirs). Josemi took care of the arrangements and the schedules.

To complete the album, a crowdfunding campaing was carried in the popular platform Verkami. The campaign was a complete success and achieved its objective. A hundred people supported Miguel, receiving the CD along with other gifts and perks. These supporters have been the first listeners and have shared enthusiastic opinions about him. The result is a vibrant, fresh, emotional, fun album of catchy, elaborate lyrics, clean and powerful harmonies, with a strong influence of eighties and nineties Spanish pop and rock that that can be sensed in each song, along with a very personal touch from Miguel.

As Miguel himself says:
